If anyone knows about the way Jobbik functions and the way they act - then they have to conclude that they are neo-nazis, many of whom wear the banned Magyar Guard uniform. In addition they are tacitly supported by the ruling party, Fidesz - which itself is inclined to neo-nazism - and with the rehabilition of Horthy and Niyro it is truly despicable. The treaties of WW2 ban such organisations - but in Hungary you would hardly know it.

This is very very supid - news intended to the people who cannot verify these stratements.

Extreme rightwing parties exist in almost all European countries. For example, the Freedom party from Austria is similar to Jobbik. Austria is told to be democratic, even if the Freedom party was in government. Jobbik is in opposition.

Le Pen's party has large support in France. Jobbik is not worse than Le Pen's party.

NDP from Germany is a much more extreme, openly nazi party. BNP from Britain is similar. Jobbik is much softer than these. Majoriy of Jobbik supporters are close to mainstream.

Jobbik is not a friend of the government parties. They are political opponents. In fact, after gygantic corruption scandals of the "Liberals" (Magyar's party) and the "Socialists", they are the main competitors of the government parties. This is what the Liberals tried to take advantage of in 2010, as Schiffer, LMP's former president also noticed. The liberal party tried to make propaganda for Jobbik, just that the centre-right government parties do not have 66%.
